EndNote X is compatible with Microsoft Word 2007. The EndNote X Cite While You Write toolbar should install into the Addins tab in Word 2007, and the tools should function as designed*. If the CWYW tools do not load automatically, u should install it manually follow the next 2 steps: copy the 3 or 2 files below from installed folder into Word2007 "starup"  folder according ur  EndNot version ,default path is "Users\Administrator\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Word\STARTUP" of word2007, last step just restar it then u will see the toolbar !
